Bill Lynch, a professional potter for almost 34 years, established Penns Creek Pottery in 1979, and is pleased once again to teach a pottery class out of his studio.

Although people’s reasons for making pottery have changed over the centuries, interest in learning this ancient craft remains strong. Many people look to pottery-making as a new way of expressing themselves. Working with your hands can be a good release from life’s stressful daily routine.

With this in mind, Bill Lynch is pleased to announce his twelfth annual pottery course at Penns Creek. Evening classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. This session is limited to eight students and will be held for the five week period beginning March 3 and ending April 2. The fee of $450.00 includes personalized instruction, the use of a potter’s wheel, unlimited clay, and all the needed tools. In addition, Bill will glaze and fire several pieces of each student’s work, as proof of skills learned and a journey begun.

This is your opportunity to be part of a pottery making tradition that is many thousands of years old. Be one of us. Come and learn!
